The MSM Strategic Planning Initiative in Conjunction with Michigan Department of Community Health (MDCH) and ACCESS Community Health & Research Center HIV/AIDS prevention program are Co-sponsoring “Community Conversation”

MDCH Estimates there are over 18,000 people currently living with HIV/AIDS in Michigan. Of which 14,500 are Men. Men who have sex with Men (MSM) accounts for the most HIV infection among Men in Michigan, about 68% have reported MSM behavior. Including MSM who were also injecting drugs users
Wayne County has one of the highest rates of HIV among MSM.
Did you know….
Every 9 and ½ minutes someone in the United States is infected with HIV
If the current trends persist, AIDS could claim up to 100 million lives worldwide by 2020, making it the worst epidemic in human history
